International
Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. R2B2 Race Cars is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Sales Tax
R2B2 Race Cars charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

Miscellaneous
SCHEDULING - We strive to give each customer exactly what they want in their race car. This means allowing every customer to make modifications and add options throughout the car-building process, if desired. As a result this sometimes delays the completion of a car, therefore pushing back the start time of the next car on the waiting list. This is the reason we work from a waiting list and won’t give a specific start and/or completion date for any in-house job.

CHASSIS KITS - R2B2 Race Cars chassis kits are custom-cut and bent per your vehicle specifications. Each chassis kit comes complete with hardware, a kit pick slip and a print, unless specified. The Chassis section of our catalog lists the hardware and components included with our kits. Technical support is available at an additional consulting fee.

CHASSIS QUOTES - There are many options available when building a race car so we’ve created our 40+ page R2B2 Race Cars Whole Car Price Guide (WCPG). You will be asked to complete the WCPG by selecting your options. We will then provide an estimated price for your race car, based on your selections and the approximated labor cost to complete the job.”

PAYMENT SCHEDULE - For in-house jobs, sixty percent of the estimated total is due when you place your order. This will put you on the waiting list and allow us to order some of your special order items needed to begin your job. Twenty percent is due when we begin your job.  The balance is due when the customer is notified that the job is done, usually one week prior to completion date. Modifications and options added throughout the car-building process (and the labor associated with those items) must be paid for at that time.  Labor hours are truly estimated and your bill will reflect the actual labor for each labor line item.

TIME & MATERIAL JOBS - Each T&M job we do is different so it’s difficult to accurately estimate what these jobs will cost. Items listed on your estimate reflect the material price only; the labor to install these items will be totaled at the end of the job and put on a separate invoice. Each time something is changed or added, it could increase your material and labor bill.

PRICES - All prices are subject to change without notice. Special order items and custom-made parts need to be pre-paid. Call the office for current pricing.

PAYMENT METHODS - Payment is expected at the time of order. We accept check, money order, Visa and MasterCard. Checks must clear our bank before any merchandise will be shipped. Personal checks will not be accepted for final payments.

FREIGHT CHARGES - Customers are responsible to pay all incoming freight and handling charges incurred for special order items. All outgoing shipping charges will be added to each customer invoice.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS - R2B2 Race Cars will quote various carriers for the best service, price and insurance on all international shipments. All orders and freight charges must be paid in full before the order will be released.  Any additional freight charges, duties or tariffs incurred will be the responsibility of the customer.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS - All expenses resulting from a refused shipment, regardless of reason, will be the responsibility of the customer and carried as a balance due. Future orders will not be released until R2B2 Race Cars is reimbursed for the expense.

RETURNS - An RGA # is required for all returns so please contact our office before returning any merchandise. A 20% restocking charge will be applied to all returns. Special orders and custom-made parts are non-returnable and non-refundable. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days of the invoice date.

CLAIMS - All merchandise is counted and double-checked prior to shipping. Contact us immediately if your order is not complete or correct. If your package arrives damaged, you are required to keep the packaging in order to process a claim with the freight carrier. Claims for damage, shortage and loss in transit must be made to both the freight carrier and R2B2 Race Cars immediately.

PAINT POLICY - R2B2 Race Cars is a shop and we cannot be responsible for preservation of paint on your car. While we always do our best to preserve paint jobs, the shop environment can cause imperfections in your paint. It is recommended that any paint be applied after your car leaves our shop, if at all possible.

STORAGE FEES - R2B2 Race Cars expects a prompt final payment and pickup of your car. After 7 days, a daily storage fee will be applied to your balance.

WARRANTY - Due to the unusual stress and abuse placed on racing parts, R2B2 Race Cars does not state or imply any warranty. R2B2 Race Cars and/or its employees assume no responsibility or liability for any personal injury or loss resulting from the use of these products orservices.
